Mission

EQUALITY NoVa (formerly known as AGLA) is a vibrant, grassroots membership organization that strives to improve the quality of life and meet the needs of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning (LGBTQ) community and allies. EQUALITY NoVa respects diversity and builds relationships with civic groups and community leaders.


Services

We are a premier LGBTQ community organization serving the community through education, social programming, and civic engagement initiatives that foster connection, empowerment, and visibility. Through community service, advocacy, scholarships, and inclusive events, we create safe spaces while advancing awareness and ensuring LGBTQ voices are represented in local decision-making and public life.
